Memorial concert in November

The Imre Makovecz Foundation, Zugló Philharmonic Orchestra and the Fonó Music Hall agreed to stage the gala concert that traditionally closes the annual Seven Towers Festival as a joint production on 20 November 2015. This year the concert will be held at the main hall of the Music Academy in Budapest.

30th anniversary of the Zalaszentlászló Village Community house

By the anniversary date, the refurbishment of the village community house was completed. Imre Pozsgay, who initiated the building thirty years ago, also attended the ceremony. On the occasion of the anniversary, a plaque was unveiled and an exhibition of Imre Makovecz’s work was held in the village.

Below are a few archive photos of the community house’s construction. (Thanks to Ferenc Zajti!)
